We use the information we collect to:

  • Improve our website and services
  • Understand how visitors use our website

Data Storage and Security

Our website and the systems that handle your submissions are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH on infrastructure located in Germany (European Union). Contact form submissions are delivered through Mailgun via its EU endpoint (api.eu.mailgun.net), so message content stays within the EU during transit and processing. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

International Data Transfers

We operate from the United Kingdom and host our systems in Germany. If you submit information to us from the United States or any other country outside the UK / European Economic Area, that personal data will be transferred to, stored, and processed on servers located in the European Union (Germany), where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. By submitting an enquiry or otherwise providing personal data through this site, you understand and consent to this transfer.

We rely on the UK GDPR and EU GDPR as our baseline data-protection framework. Both regimes provide robust protections for personal data regardless of where the data subject is located, and the European Commission and the UK Government recognise each other's regimes as offering an adequate level of protection.

Your Rights (UK / EU)

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data
  • Request erasure of your personal data
  • Restrict processing of your personal data
  • Data portability
  • Object to processing of your personal data

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via our contact form.

Your Rights as a US / California Resident

If you are a resident of the United States — and in particular if you are a California resident covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) — you have the following rights with respect to personal information we collect about you:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (where applicable) sell or share about you
  • The right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

For clarity: we do not sell or share personal information within the meaning of the CCPA / CPRA, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioural advertising. We also do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. These rights are listed here so you know they apply even though no "sale" of your data occurs.

Residents of other US states with comparable privacy laws (for example Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas) may exercise equivalent rights granted by their state law. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via our contact form; we will respond within the timeframes required by the applicable law.

Cookies

We do not use cookies on this website. Plausible Analytics does not use cookies or collect any personal data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Mailgun (EU endpoint): For processing contact form submissions; message content is handled within the EU
  • Plausible Analytics: For privacy-friendly website analytics (self-hosted in the EU)
  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany, EU): For website hosting and underlying infrastructure

Data Retention

We retain your contact information for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and provide our services. If you request deletion of your data, we will delete it within 30 days unless we're required to retain it for legal purposes.
